Effects of Flywheel vs. Free-Weight Squats and Split Squats on Jumping Performance and Change of Direction Speed in Soccer Players

The objective of this study was to compare (i) effects a flywheel and free-weight resistance training program; (ii) performing lateral frontal split squats as part flywheel-resistance program on jumping performance, the 5–0–5 change direction test time, one-repetition maximum (1RM) back squat in soccer players.
